This client is a significant UK branded food manufacturer, who have created an enviable reputation for delivering fantastic quality food products that can be found in most consumers food basket.

Their products can be found in Grocers and out of home, operating as category partner. To maintain these high standards the business requires a sharp experienced Category Manager on an Interim basis for 6-month period.

As part of a wider team, this role sits across marketing and NPD to provide insights from market trends, consumer insights and pricing architectures along with commercial changes taking place across this fast paced and dynamic market.  To achieve this, you will be working across multiple internal stakeholders in sales, NPD and Marketing whilst meeting with retailers to develop new strategies for future growth.

With a least 5 years’ experience in a commercial category function, you will be using your solid experience utilizing a variety of data sources such as Kantar, Nielsen, Aimia and retail link.  This will enable you to identify not just market trends but future opportunities that can be capitalised through your interaction with customers.
